JULY 1992
- The first K-BOB’S Franchise is sold.
- K-BOB’S USA, Inc. earned the Texas Cattle Feeders' Association Beef Merchandising Award. This award is presented to organizations promoting beef and supporting rural communities.
1996
- K-BOB’S is awarded the Franchise Development Award by the University of Texas El Paso.
2003
- K-BOB’S is awarded the Restaurant Neighbor Award for their "K-BOB’S Supports Our Troops" program. During the month of April, families with deployed troops were able to enjoy up to three free meals a day at K-BOB’S Steakhouses. $12,000 in free meals was provided.
2002-2004
- K-BOB’S began its innovative K-CARE program in January 1998 for all employees to grow a retirement plan at no charge to them.
- In 2002 and 2004, K-BOB’S was recognized with the Winning Workforce Award for commitment to improving training, operations and human resources.
AUGUST 2006
- K-BOB’S USA, Inc., Franchisor of 19 K-BOB’S Steakhouses located across New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. Many locations are kicked off this special occasion in August. Each K-BOB’S will celebrate its birthday in their signature style with a variety of 40th Anniversary special promotions. In addition, K-BOB’S offered specials and promotions to celebrate the anniversary all year long to say "Thank You" to all their loyal customers for all these years.
